The Haval Jolion price in Pakistan starts at Rs. 7,949,000 for the 1.5T petrol and Rs. 9,295,000 for the HEV hybrid. The Jolion Max is a different car altogether, and it has no Pakistan price yet.
| Model | Ex-factory price |
|---|---|
| Haval Jolion 1.5T petrol | Rs. 7,949,000 |
| Haval Jolion HEV hybrid | Rs. 9,295,000 |
| Haval Jolion Max | not announced |
Figures as listed by the authorised GWM dealership. Ex-factory is not on-road: registration, freight, withholding tax and documentation sit on top. Confirm the current figure at the dealership before paying anything.
One thing worth knowing if you shop around. Two lower ex-factory figures are also in circulation for these same cars, Rs. 7,796,106 and Rs. 9,116,216, on a price list dated June 2026.
The gap is exactly 1.923% on both variants, which looks like a uniform adjustment rather than a mistake.
Sazgar said last year that it would absorb the new-energy-vehicle levy itself rather than pass it to customers, trimming ex-factory prices and carrying the levy internally. That would account for two sets of numbers existing side by side.
The Jolion Max Is Not a Bigger Jolion
This is the part almost every write-up gets wrong. The Jolion Max is not a trim level of the Jolion. It is the export name of the Haval Xiaolong, a separate model line developed under the project code A07.
The Jolion sits on Great Wall's L.E.M.O.N. platform and is built in Baoding, with Sazgar assembling it in Lahore since 2023. The Xiaolong is a different design built in Tianjin. In a Haval Pakistan showroom they will stand side by side sharing four letters of a name, and little else.
The dimensions tell the same story, and they carry a surprise.
| Jolion | Jolion Max | |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 4,472 mm | 4,590 mm |
| Width | 1,841 mm | 1,871 mm |
| Height | 1,619 mm | 1,675 mm |
| Wheelbase | 2,700 mm | 2,710 mm |
Wheelbase is the distance between the front and rear wheels, and it is what decides cabin space.
The Max is 118 mm longer but its wheelbase is only 10 mm longer. Almost all the extra length is bodywork hanging off the ends, not legroom.
So if you are stepping up expecting a roomier back seat, sit in both first. The numbers say the rear bench will feel much the same.
Haval Jolion Max PHEV: Engine, Power and Electric Range
The plug-in hybrid pairs a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine of 1,499 cc with an electric motor through a dedicated hybrid transmission, driving the front wheels. The figures shown in Pakistan are 319 hp and 528 Nm combined, with 0 to 100 km/h in about 7.3 seconds.
To put that in context, the Jolion 1.5T makes 141 hp and the Jolion HEV makes 188 hp. The Max PHEV figure is 2.26 times the petrol Jolion and 1.7 times the hybrid.
That is a large claim, and it carries one thing to confirm. The Chinese model it is based on publishes 248 hp and 375 Nm, and Great Wall's higher outputs on this platform come from a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system.
So a 319 hp front-wheel-drive version is worth asking the dealership to put in writing.
The battery is about 19 kWh, a lithium iron phosphate pack, with roughly 95 km of electric range on WLTP and a 50-litre fuel tank.
For scale, the Jolion hybrid carries a 1.6 kWh battery. The plug-in pack is nearly twelve times larger, and that one number is the whole difference between a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid.
Haval Jolion Max EV: Battery, Range and Charging
The fully electric version carries a 61 kWh battery with a claimed 400 km on WLTP, a single front motor, and 0 to 100 km/h in about 8.4 seconds. Both versions have a 6.6 kW AC onboard charger. DC fast charging is listed as available with the rate still being confirmed.
| Max PHEV | Max EV | |
|---|---|---|
| Battery | 19 kWh LFP | 61 kWh |
| Electric range | 95 km WLTP | 400 km WLTP |
| Consumption | 200 Wh/km | 153 Wh/km |
| AC charge, 6.6 kW | about 2.9 h | about 9.2 h |
| 0–100 km/h | 7.3 s | 8.4 s |
Consumption worked out from the battery size and the WLTP range. AC times are the battery divided by the charger rating, so real charging will be a little slower.
Two things fall out of that table that no spec sheet points out. The PHEV uses 31% more electricity per kilometre than the EV, because it is hauling an engine, a fuel tank and a gearbox around with it.
And on a 6.6 kW AC supply the EV needs over nine hours for a full charge. That makes it an overnight-charging car, so the DC rate matters a great deal and is the one figure still missing. The PHEV, at under three hours, will fill comfortably in an evening.
WLTP is a laboratory result, not a promise. Heat and air conditioning take their share here, which we covered in why electric range drops below the rated figure.
Before choosing between the two, our guide to buying an EV in Pakistan is worth reading, along with EV charging stations in Pakistan and motorway and highway charging locations.
Interior, Technology and Safety
Both versions were shown with a 14.6-inch central screen and a 10.25-inch instrument display, a head-up display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 50 W wireless phone charger in the console. There is a panoramic roof, LED lighting, a power tailgate and 19-inch wheels.
The front seats are powered, heated and ventilated, with six-way adjustment for the driver and four-way for the passenger. A heated steering wheel was listed for the plug-in hybrid, with the electric version not confirmed.
On safety, six airbags and Level 2 driver assistance were shown, including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping and automatic emergency braking. No independent crash rating has been published for this model in this market, which is not the same as a poor result — there is simply no test to quote.
Price and Availability: What Has Not Been Announced
The Jolion Max was shown in Pakistan in early September 2026. As of today, no price, no booking amount, no launch date and no delivery window has been announced for either version.
Anyone quoting you a Jolion Max price today is guessing. It is also not confirmed whether the car will be imported or assembled locally, and that single decision usually moves the price more than any feature on the car.
For reference rather than prediction, the only Haval plug-in currently carrying a listed price is the H6 PHEV at Rs. 12,895,000. That is where Haval's existing plug-in sits, nothing more. If you want other plug-in options in the meantime, we have written up the DENZA B5 and the OMODA C7.
Running Costs Against the Petrol Jolion
The reason a plug-in matters here is arithmetic, not fashion. At 153 Wh per kilometre the electric Max uses about 0.15 units of electricity per kilometre, and no domestic tariff in Pakistan turns that into anything close to the cost of petrol at current rates.
Work your own numbers from today's petrol price in Pakistan and your own per-unit rate rather than trusting a headline. We ran the same comparison across the market in electric vehicles and rising petrol costs.
Haval Jolion Accessories at Asad Autos
If you already own a Jolion, our Haval Jolion accessories range covers custom-fit floor mats, trunk mats, dashboard mats, sun shades, mud flaps, interior PPF and key covers. H6 owners can look at the H6 facelift accessories instead.
For the Jolion Max, nothing is listed and nothing will be labelled as fitting it until we have measured one. Since the Max is a different model on a different platform, Jolion parts should not be assumed to fit it. Bring the car in once you have it and we will check properly.
Final Thoughts
Jolion 1.5T Rs. 7,949,000 and Jolion HEV Rs. 9,295,000 ex-factory, both assembled in Lahore. The Jolion Max is a different model, the export version of the Haval Xiaolong, and it has no price, booking or launch date yet.
The PHEV was shown with 319 hp and 95 km of WLTP electric range from a 19 kWh pack; the EV with 61 kWh and 400 km. Ask for the drive layout and the DC charging rate in writing, because those two are still unconfirmed.
