The MG IM6 specs in Pakistan are not confirmed, because the car has not been launched here and does not appear in MG Motor Pakistan's model range. What is confirmed is the full international specification, and it holds some figures worth knowing.
Three variants, two different battery chemistries, four-wheel steering on every version and a charging ceiling of 396 kW. Everything below comes from MG's own brochure, clearly separated from anything Pakistan-specific.
Is the MG IM6 Coming to Pakistan?
An IM6 has been reported as seen in Pakistan. That is genuinely all that can be said, and it is less than it sounds.
MG Motor Pakistan's website lists eleven models, and the IM6 is not one of them. The HS range, the ZS range, MG4 EV Urban, U9, Cyberster and Binguo EV each have a model page, a brochure and a booking button. The IM6 has none.
Cars arrive in a country for many reasons short of a launch — private import, evaluation, a display unit. A sighting tells you a vehicle exists here, not that it is for sale. Until a model page appears on the manufacturer's own site, treat MG IM6 launch date in Pakistan as unknown.
MG IM6 Price in Pakistan
Not announced. There is no official local price, no confirmed variant and no booking channel, so there is no MG IM6 price in Pakistan to report.
We are not going to convert an overseas list price into rupees either. Customs duty, sales tax, excise, freight, homologation, warranty provision, the exchange rate and MG's own local strategy all sit in between, and a converted figure would mislead rather than inform.
MG IM6 Specs: The Three International Variants
The IM6 is an electric SUV from SAIC's IM brand, the export version of the IM LS6, and it comes in three configurations internationally.
| Specification | Premium | Platinum | Performance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Battery | 75 kWh LFP | 100 kWh NCM | 100 kWh NCM |
| Platform | 400V IGBT | 800V SiC | 800V SiC |
| Drivetrain | RWD | RWD | AWD |
| Power | 217 kW rear | 300 kW rear | 200 kW front 372 kW rear |
| Torque | 450 Nm | 500 Nm | 302 Nm front 500 Nm rear |
| 0–100 km/h | 6.8 sec | 5.4 sec | 3.4 sec |
| WLTP range | 450 km | 555 km | 505 km |
| Max DC charging | 153 kW | 396 kW | 396 kW |
| Wheels | 20-inch | 21-inch | 21-inch |
| Air suspension | No | No | Yes, with CCD |
International specifications from MG's own brochure. Dimensions are 4,904 mm long, 1,988 mm wide and 1,669 mm tall on a 2,950 mm wheelbase, with a 665-litre boot on Premium and Platinum, 646 on Performance, extending to 1,640 and 1,621 litres respectively. MG has not confirmed which variant, if any, Pakistan would receive.
Two details deserve pulling out. First, the entry car uses a different battery chemistry: LFP in the Premium, NCM in the other two. LFP generally handles routine charging to 100 per cent better and tends to last longer; NCM packs more energy into the same weight. That is an ownership difference, not a trim detail.
Second, on the Performance, those are per-axle figures and not a system total. MG publishes no combined output for this car, and adding the two motor peaks together overstates it, because the battery and inverters limit what both can draw at once.
Battery and Range: What the SUV Shape Costs
The IM6 shares its platform, its 100 kWh pack and its charging ceiling with the IM5 saloon. Comparing the two shows exactly what the taller body costs.
| Version | IM5 saloon | IM6 SUV | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Long range, 100 kWh | 710 km | 555 km | −155 km |
| Performance, 100 kWh | 575 km | 505 km | −70 km |
| Entry, 75 kWh | 490 km | 450 km | −40 km |
WLTP figures for both models. The two cars differ in length by only 27 mm, so the gap is almost entirely frontal area and aerodynamics rather than size or weight of battery.
A 155 km deficit on the long-range version is a lot to give up, and it is the clearest illustration of why saloons still out-range their SUV siblings on the same hardware.
On consumption, the IM6's WLTP figures work out at roughly 16.7 kWh per 100 km for the Premium, 18.0 for the Platinum and 19.8 for the Performance.
Those are calculated on nominal capacity, because MG does not publish a usable figure for this model, so do not set them against usable-capacity numbers quoted elsewhere. And WLTP is a laboratory cycle: real MG IM6 range falls with speed, heat, air conditioning and load.
Charging: 396 kW, and What It Would Mean Here
The 800-volt silicon-carbide architecture on the Platinum and Performance allows up to 396 kW on DC. The 400-volt Premium is limited to 153 kW, which is still quick.
A ceiling is only as good as the charger under it, though. Nothing on Pakistan's public network delivers anything approaching 396 kW, so in practice such a car would charge at whatever the local unit supplies.
Real MG IM6 charging time also depends on battery temperature, starting state of charge and how long the car holds peak power before tapering. Treat any ten-to-eighty claim as a best case, and see our coverage of EV charging stations on Pakistan's motorways and highways for what is actually installed.
Four-Wheel Steering and Crab Mode
This is the specification that would matter most in a Pakistani city, and it is on every variant rather than reserved for the top trim.
The IM6's Intelligent Four-wheel Steering System provides up to 12 degrees of total rear steering, including a Crab Mode, and MG quotes a turning radius of 5.09 metres.
For a 4.9-metre, 1.99-metre-wide SUV, that is a remarkable figure — tighter than many small hatchbacks manage. In narrow lanes and multi-storey car parks it would make more difference day to day than any acceleration claim.
Interior, Technology and Comfort
The cabin is screen-led. A 26.3-inch display at 4320 by 720 pixels spans the dashboard, with a separate 10.5-inch central touchscreen, both running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 cabin computer. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are listed, along with voice control and a built-in video recorder.
Audio is a 20-speaker system including four sky speakers, paired with Road Noise Control — active cancellation of tyre and road noise, which is a genuinely useful feature on coarse surfaces.
What stands out is how much is standard across all three variants rather than reserved for the top trim. That includes a double-glazed, thermally insulating panoramic glass roof and heated front and rear seats with ventilated fronts.
Also standard throughout: a 12-way power driver's seat with memory, two-zone climate control, a heated steering wheel, 256-colour ambient lighting, a 50W cooled wireless charging pad and a cooled and heated box.
Rear passengers get an 18-degree adjustable backrest, 40/60 folding and three ISOFIX points.
One difference between trims does matter for efficiency: the Premium uses a 400-volt heat pump while the Platinum and Performance use an 800-volt unit.
A small note on accuracy. MG's own brochure calls the front seats "cooling" in its text while its specification table lists them as ventilated. The two mean the same thing in practice, but it is the brochure that is inconsistent, not us.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The sensor hardware is substantial and, again, the same on every variant: an Intelligent Pilot Device built on NVIDIA's Orin N processor, fed by nine HD cameras, three millimetre-wave radars and twelve ultrasonic sensors, plus a positioning unit and an inertial measurement unit.
The published driver-assistance set covers forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, blind-spot detection with lane-change assist, rear cross-traffic alert and braking, lane departure warning and prevention, and emergency lane keeping. On the driving side there is adaptive cruise control, lane centering, speed-limit recognition and intelligent speed assistance.
Parking is where MG has put its marketing: park distance control and auto park assist sit alongside a family of One Touch functions — park, kerbside parking, pull out and reverse — under the One Touch iAD system MG badges as an AI chauffeur.
Passive safety is listed as front and side airbags plus side curtain airbags, pre-tensioner front belts, a driver monitoring system, a 360-degree HD camera and direct tyre-pressure monitoring. No independent crash rating exists for a Pakistan-specification car, because there is no Pakistan-specification car, and assistance systems support a driver rather than replace one.
MG IM6 vs BYD Sealion 7 vs Deepal S07
The comparison has one asymmetry that decides it for now: the Sealion 7 and the S07 are on sale in Pakistan, and the IM6 is not. A specification you cannot buy loses to a specification you can.
On paper the IM6's advantages would be its 800-volt charging ceiling, four-wheel steering on all trims, and a long-range figure of 555 km WLTP. Its disadvantage is everything that comes with not being launched: no warranty terms, no parts network, no service training, no resale history.
If you are shopping now rather than reading, the practical choice is between the two cars you can actually own — and we already stock accessories for both, from the Deepal S07 range to our BYD Sealion 7 accessories.
MG Accessories in Pakistan
If you drive an MG in Pakistan today, we hold exact-fit stock for it. There are dedicated ranges for the MG HS 2021–2024, the MG HS PHEV 2025–2026 and the MG ZS, each cut to that body rather than sold as universal.
Not sure which generation you have? The full MG accessories in Pakistan hub gathers all three, from trunk mats and dashboard carpets to sun visors, side skirts, key covers and interior film cut for each body.
Beyond the model-specific parts, the wider ranges suit any MG. For the floor that means 9D floor mats and latex floor mats cut to each model’s own footwell shape, with 7D trunk mats for the boot.
Inside, we fit seat covers, steering accessories and interior PPF that keeps screen bezels and door trims from scuffing. Any screen-heavy cabin scratches easily, so interior film earns its place on those cars.
Outside, UV protection film and paint protection film deal with sun and road debris, while top covers keep dust off a parked car. For an EV, security gadgets matter more than styling parts.
All of it is fitted in-house in Multan with nationwide delivery, and our car care products cover the washing and polishing side. Browse the full accessories range or read more about us on our about page.
Fitment for the IM6 will follow once a local specification is confirmed, since exact-fit parts are cut to measured dimensions.
Final Thoughts
The verified MG IM6 specs in Pakistan are, strictly speaking, none — the car is absent from MG's local range. What is solid is the international specification: 75 kWh LFP or 100 kWh NCM, up to 555 km WLTP, 396 kW charging on the 800-volt cars, four-wheel steering throughout and a 5.09-metre turning circle.
The number worth remembering is the 155 km the SUV gives up to its saloon sibling on identical hardware. And the place to watch for a launch is MG Motor Pakistan's own site, not a sighting on a road. Full figures are in MG's official IM6 brochure.
