Diesel (HSD) 424.04 422.08 −1.96

All prices in PKR per litre.

What the Change Means

For car owners, the petrol increase adds about Rs. 184 to a 40-litre fill. Motorcycle riders will pay around Rs. 46 more on a 10-litre tank.

The diesel cut is modest, but it runs the right way for transporters and goods carriers, whose costs eventually reach everyone else. For how rates stood before this change, see our previous petrol price update, or our wider coverage of Pakistan fuel prices.

When the New Rates Apply

The revised prices take effect from 22 September 2026. They stay unchanged on public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays. Our tracker of petrol and diesel prices shows how often rates have been moving this month.

Final Thoughts

Petrol is dearer and diesel slightly cheaper from today. With the petrol price in Pakistan revised this often, the costs you can actually control are on your side of the pump: correct tyre pressure, less idling and on-time servicing.
