Petrol and Diesel Prices Both Decrease
The petrol reduction of Rs. 1.65 means drivers will pay around Rs. 66 less on a 40-litre fill.
The diesel price has also decreased by Rs. 0.88 per litre, reducing the cost of a 40-litre fill by around Rs. 35.20.
Petrol and high-speed diesel are priced against separate international benchmarks, which can move independently. In this revision, both fuel prices have decreased.
When Do the New Fuel Prices Apply?
The revised rates are effective from 19 September 2026. If you are eligible for fuel relief, our coverage of the Pakistan petrol subsidy covers the Rs. 100 per litre scheme for bikes and small cars, which applies on top of these rates.

The petrol price in Pakistan today is Rs. 389.14 and high-speed diesel is Rs. 424.04, effective 19 September 2026.
