Kia Sportage L Price Cut: Up to Rs. 8 Lakh Off, One Big Condition

The Kia Sportage L price cut announced for November takes Rs700,000 off the FWD Hybrid and Rs800,000 off the AWD Hybrid.

That is a real saving and the numbers add up. But the condition attached to it matters more than the discount.

You have to pay for the whole car by 30 November. A booking payment does not qualify.

Kia Sportage L New Prices in Pakistan After the Discount

Variant Was Now Off
1.6T FWD Hybrid 12,199,000 11,499,000 700,000
1.6T AWD Hybrid 13,299,000 12,499,000 800,000

All figures are rupees, and they are ex-factory. Withholding tax, freight, insurance and registration sit on top.

The offer runs from 3 November and the payment deadline is 30 November 2026.

One caution before you plan around these. We could not open an official Kia price list showing this offer, so treat the figures as announced rather than confirmed.

Get them in writing from an authorised dealer before you transfer anything.

The Condition That Decides Whether You Get It

Most coverage puts the full-payment requirement in a closing line. It belongs at the top.

When bookings opened for the facelift in July, the booking amounts were Rs2,000,000 for the FWD Hybrid and Rs2,500,000 for the AWD Hybrid.

So work out what full payment actually means for someone who has already booked.

On the FWD Hybrid that leaves Rs9,499,000 to find. On the AWD Hybrid, Rs9,999,000.

The booking covers about 17 percent of the promotional price on the FWD, and 20 percent on the AWD.

And the window is 28 days. That works out near Rs340,000 a day on the FWD.

So this is a discount for buyers who can produce roughly Rs9.5 million in cash inside four weeks.

If that is not you, the headline price is not really available to you. Worth knowing before you visit a showroom.

Why the Price Went Up in August in the First Place

This is the part that changes how you should read the whole offer.

In August the FWD Hybrid went from Rs11,299,000 to Rs12,199,000, an increase of Rs900,000.

The Sorento hybrids rose at the same time, by Rs1,000,000 and Rs1,200,000.

And the reason was tax, not the company. The reduced sales tax rates for hybrids ended on 30 June 2026, and the new prices followed.

So the August rise was a policy change passed on to buyers.

Which means this November cut is the assembler handing back part of that increase. It is not the car becoming cheaper to build or to sell.

That distinction matters, because a tax-driven price can move again whenever the tax does.

How Much of the August Increase Has Come Back

Here the arithmetic is worth doing slowly.

August added Rs900,000 to the FWD Hybrid. November takes Rs700,000 off.

So about 78 percent of the increase has been reversed, and Rs200,000 of it has not.

The FWD Hybrid is cheaper than it was last week and still Rs200,000 dearer than it was in July.

That is not a complaint about the offer. It is the context the word discount tends to hide.

For the AWD Hybrid we cannot do the same sum honestly. It was effectively a new listing in August, with no reliable earlier price to compare against.

So anyone quoting an AWD historical saving is working from a figure that was never confirmed.

The Discount Is Less Lopsided Than It Looks

Up to Rs8 lakh makes the AWD deal sound much better than the FWD one. In proportion it is barely better.

The FWD discount is 5.74 percent of its previous price. The AWD discount is 6.02 percent of its own.

That is a gap of 0.28 percentage points.

The AWD number is bigger because the car is dearer, not because the offer favours it.

So do not pick a variant because its discount has a larger figure attached. Pick it on what you need the car to do.

The AWD Premium Just Got Smaller

There is one genuinely useful thing buried in these numbers.

Before the offer, stepping up from FWD to AWD cost Rs1,100,000.

Under the offer it costs Rs1,000,000.

So all-wheel drive became Rs100,000 cheaper to reach than it was last week.

If you were already weighing the two, that is a better reason to move up than the headline.

Whether it is worth a million rupees depends on where you drive. AWD earns its keep on broken roads, wet seasons and hill routes.

On city roads in Multan or Lahore, it mostly does not.

Seven Price Events in Nineteen Months

While checking this offer we kept finding earlier ones. The pattern is worth seeing.

April 2025 brought a promotion worth up to Rs591,250. May 2025 brought a much larger one, up to Rs1,851,000 off.

Bookings for the hybrid were suspended later that month.

October 2025 brought fresh limited-time offers, and in the same month the free registration and power bonus programmes ended.

June 2026 cut the Alpha by Rs1,000,000. August 2026 raised the hybrid prices. Now November cuts them again.

That is seven separate price events on one model in about nineteen months.

Which puts the deadline in perspective. A limited-time Sportage L offer is a recurring event, not a one-off.

But it cuts both ways, and this is the part people forget. Benefits have also been withdrawn, as October 2025 showed.

So waiting is not free either. We are not predicting the next move, because nobody can.

Figures to Treat With Care

If you search for this discount you will find other numbers. Check the dates on all of them.

Several widely shared articles quote the hybrid falling from Rs12,850,000 to Rs10,999,000, a cut of Rs1,851,000.

Those are May 2025 prices, and at least one of those articles carries no date at all.

Another widely read page is from April 2025 while displaying a relative date that suggests otherwise.

A separate headline asks whether a Rs10 lakh Sportage L cut is fact or rumour, against this offer's Rs7 to Rs8 lakh.

So old promotional prices circulate as though they were current. If a figure looks too good, it is probably from last year.

What to Confirm Before You Pay

Seven things, and all of them in writing.

The promotional price itself, and whether the figure quoted to you is ex-factory or on-road.

The withholding tax that applies to you, since it varies with your filer status.

Freight, insurance and registration, which are extra and are not small on a car at this price.

Whether payment must be received by 30 November, or merely initiated. Those are not the same thing and bank transfers take time.

Whether the offer covers existing bookings or only new ones.

The delivery date and whether stock is actually available in your variant and colour.

And written confirmation of the offer from the dealership, on paper, with the price and the deadline on it.

A dealer who will put all seven in writing is one you can pay. One who will not is telling you something.

Final Thoughts

This is a real saving on a car that has just been named a best family SUV, and the arithmetic holds up. Just read it for what it is. August added Rs900,000 because a tax concession expired, November gives Rs700,000 of it back, and the FWD Hybrid is still Rs200,000 above its July price.

The deadline is the thing to think hardest about. Full payment inside 28 days means roughly Rs9.5 million in cash for anyone holding only a booking. So the discount reaches a narrower group of buyers than the headline suggests. If you are in that group, get the price and the terms in writing today rather than late in the month.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Kia Sportage L price cut?

A promotional offer taking Rs700,000 off the 1.6T FWD Hybrid and Rs800,000 off the 1.6T AWD Hybrid. It runs from 3 November, with payment due by 30 November 2026. Confirm the figures with a dealer, as we could not find them on an official price list.

What are the new Kia Sportage L prices in Pakistan?

The FWD Hybrid comes to Rs11,499,000 from Rs12,199,000, and the AWD Hybrid to Rs12,499,000 from Rs13,299,000. Both are ex-factory, so tax, freight, insurance and registration are additional.

Can I get the discount with a booking payment?

No. The offer requires the full amount. Booking figures when the facelift opened were Rs2,000,000 and Rs2,500,000, which leaves roughly Rs9.5 to Rs10 million still to pay inside the window.

When does the offer end?

Payment must be completed by 30 November 2026. Ask the dealership whether the money has to be received by that date or only sent, because a transfer can take days to clear.

Is the FWD Hybrid cheaper than before August?

No. It was Rs11,299,000 before August, rose Rs900,000, and now sits at Rs11,499,000. So it remains Rs200,000 above its earlier level even with the discount applied.

Why did prices rise in August?

The reduced sales tax rates for hybrid vehicles ended on 30 June 2026, and the higher prices followed. That makes the August rise a tax change rather than a company decision, and this cut a partial reversal of it.

Which variant gets the better deal?

Proportionally they are almost the same, at 5.74 percent and 6.02 percent of their previous prices. The AWD figure is larger only because the car costs more, so choose on what you need rather than on the discount size.

Has the gap between the two variants changed?

Yes, and it is the most useful detail here. The step up to all-wheel drive now costs Rs1,000,000 instead of Rs1,100,000, so reaching AWD is Rs100,000 cheaper than it was.

Do the prices include taxes and registration?

No. These are ex-factory figures. Withholding tax, freight, insurance and registration are charged separately, and withholding tax depends on your filer status, so ask for a full on-road breakdown.

Will there be another offer if I miss this one?

We cannot say, and nobody can. The record shows seven separate price events on this model in about nineteen months. Benefits have been withdrawn as well as added, so neither rushing nor waiting is risk-free.
