The Jetour T2 facelift has launched in China sold there as the Traveller 7 with updated styling, new infotainment hardware and a plug-in hybrid offering up to 173 km of WLTP electric range.
One thing to be clear about first: this is the China-market car. Pakistan still gets the pre-facelift T2, and no local launch of the updated model has been announced.
What's New in the Facelift
Beyond the cleaner exterior, three changes matter.
A new hybrid transmission. The PHEV moves from a 3-speed DHT to a single-speed dedicated hybrid transmission. Fewer gears in a hybrid gearbox usually means smoother, less noticeable transitions between electric and petrol power the shifts you can feel are what make some hybrids feel less refined than a pure EV.
Much bigger batteries. Covered in detail below.
Upgraded cabin hardware. The 15.6-inch screen carries over, but it now runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 with 24 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Screen size gets the attention; the processor behind it is what decides whether the system still feels quick in three years.

Both are LFP packs a sensible chemistry for heat and frequent charging.
The larger battery's 173 km is a serious figure for a plug-in hybrid. Most PHEVs manage half that, and at this level a driver with home charging could cover a week of city running without the petrol engine starting. Combined range is quoted at up to 1,400 km on the CLTC cycle — note the different standard: CLTC is more optimistic than WLTP, so the two numbers are not directly comparable.
Engines and Driver Assistance
The facelift continues with 1.5L and 2.0L turbo petrol engines alongside the PHEV.
Driver assistance splits by powertrain: petrol versions use Chery's Falcon 500 system, while the PHEV gets Huawei Qiankun ADS5. That is an unusual split, and it makes the PHEV the technology flagship of the range rather than simply the efficient option.
Jetour T2 Price in Pakistan
The Jetour T2 price in Pakistan currently runs from PKR 12.795 million to PKR 15.59 million depending on variant for the existing, pre-facelift car.

Is the Facelift Coming to Pakistan?
Not confirmed. The facelift has launched in China; there has been no announcement of a Pakistan launch, timeline or price for the updated model.
Local assembly cuts both ways here. It usually helps pricing and supply, but changing over a locally assembled model to a facelift takes longer than importing built-up units, because tooling and the supply chain have to follow. Watch Jetour Pakistan for official word.
What It Means for Buyers Here
If you are buying a T2 now, you are buying the pre-facelift car which is the one with a local price, local assembly and a service network behind it. That counts for more than a newer infotainment processor.
