The Dongfeng 007 price in Pakistan runs from Rs 11,900,000 to Rs 13,900,000 ex-factory across three variants and one of those figures went up without an announcement. Launched here as the Dongfeng eπ 007, it is now marketed simply as the 007.
Two numbers in circulation need untangling before anything else: the car is quoted at both 650 km and 463 km of range, and at both 536 hp and 544 PS. Both pairs are explainable, and neither is an error.
Dongfeng 007 Price in Pakistan
Three variants, ex-factory. These figures are dated, and a price list five months old is a starting point rather than a quotation.
| Variant | Launch price, Nov 2025 | As at May 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Essence | Rs 11,900,000 | Rs 11,900,000 |
| Prestige | Rs 12,450,000 | Rs 12,990,000 |
| Excellence | Rs 13,900,000 | Rs 13,900,000 |
Ex-factory prices. Registration, taxes, freight and insurance are additional, so the on-road figure is higher. The launch prices were described as introductory for the first 200 units. Confirm the current list with the distributor before booking.
Note what the table does not include: an on-road price. Ex-factory is the number manufacturers publish, and it is not what you pay.
The Prestige Increase Nobody Announced
On 12 May 2026 the Prestige rose by Rs 540,000, or about 4.3 per cent. There was no statement; the change was noticed from an updated price image posted on the company's own social media.
The more useful observation is what it did to the line-up. Before the rise the Prestige sat Rs 1,450,000 below the Excellence.
It now sits Rs 910,000 below it, while the step up from the Essence has widened to Rs 1,090,000. The middle car is no longer in the middle, and anyone who was choosing the Prestige on value should re-do that comparison.
Battery, Motor and Performance
The pack is 73.5 kWh, quoted as 73.48 kWh in other markets the same battery, rounded differently.
On the power figures: Pakistani coverage says 536 hp and the Malaysian specification says 544 PS. Those are the same output. Metric PS converts to 536.6 mechanical horsepower, so there is no second version of this car.
| Specification | Single motor | Dual motor AWD |
|---|---|---|
| Battery | 73.48 kWh | 73.48 kWh |
| Power | 268 PS (264 hp) | 544 PS (536 hp) |
| Torque | 310 Nm | 620 Nm |
| 0–100 km/h | 5.8 sec | 3.9 sec |
| Range | 656 km CLTC | 650 km CLTC |
Figures from the Malaysian launch specification, where both versions are sold side by side. Which of Pakistan's three variants receive which powertrain has not been published.
One result there is genuinely unusual. The dual-motor car gives up only six kilometres of claimed range for an extra 276 PS and nearly two seconds to 100 km/h, on the same battery. Normally performance costs range; here it barely does.
The Range Figures: 650 km or 463 km?
Both, and the difference is the test cycle. The 650 km figure is CLTC, China's own cycle. The 463 km figure is WLTP, the stricter international one.
They are not alternatives to choose between, and they are not a contradiction. Divide one by the other and you get 0.71, which is a normal relationship between the two cycles rather than a suspiciously neat conversion.
If you want to know which to plan around, do the arithmetic. Over 650 km the 73.48 kWh pack implies about 11.3 kWh per 100 km; over 463 km it implies about 15.9 kWh per 100 km.
For a 536 hp all-wheel-drive sedan, 15.9 is a believable consumption figure and 11.3 is not. Budget on the WLTP number, then subtract again for heat, air conditioning, motorway speeds and a full car.
Charging: 18 Minutes, and What That Needs
The claimed DC figure is about 18 minutes from 20 to 80 per cent, which is quick for a 73.5 kWh pack.
A claim like that assumes a charger that can deliver it, a warm battery and a low starting state of charge. None of those is guaranteed on a given afternoon.
It also assumes you can find the charger. Our coverage of EV charging stations on Pakistan's motorways and highways is the honest picture of what is actually installed, and it is the single biggest practical difference between owning this car and reading about it.
Interior and Technology
The cabin is built around a 15.6-inch central display and a 19-speaker surround system, both confirmed from the Pakistani launch and the Malaysian specification.
A 15.6-inch screen is laptop-sized, which is worth knowing for two reasons: it dominates the dashboard, and it collects fingerprints and dust across its whole face in this climate.
Frameless doors, an active rear spoiler, wireless charging and dual-zone climate control are also reported. Equipment splits between Essence, Prestige and Excellence have not been published variant by variant, so confirm what your car actually has before you pay for a grade.
Which Variant Gets the Dual-Motor AWD?
This is the most important unanswered question about the car, and we are not going to guess at it.
Pakistan gets three variants. The market where both powertrains are sold openly gets two. The names do not line up, and the local launch coverage describes the dual-motor setup as a feature of the model without assigning it to a variant.
On the two-version split, the gap is 276 PS and almost two seconds. Anyone assuming the entry car is the 536 hp one could be badly wrong, so get the powertrain of your specific variant confirmed in writing before you book.
Ownership in Pakistan: Who Stands Behind the Car
On a car costing Rs 12 to 14 million, warranty and parts backing is most of what you are buying. Dongfeng's distribution here is worth understanding, because it has been contested.
In early 2025 the Dongfeng Box was launched in Pakistan twice by two different companies, each claiming the rights. Chawla Group's marketing director said at the time that “Chawla has exclusive rights to Dongfeng's EV passenger vehicles in Pakistan. No one else has those rights.”
Dongfeng's representative in Pakistan backed that position, saying of the other company that “Dongfeng never had a contract with them, and they launched without our knowledge or consent.” Dongfeng subsequently confirmed Chawla Green Motors as its exclusive distributor.
To be clear, that dispute concerned the Box, not the 007. The transferable point is simply that for this brand in this market, checking who holds official distribution has been worth doing.
The distributor has said its staff were trained in China, that it offers loaner cars during repairs and that it holds parts locally. Those are the company's own statements. Get the vehicle and battery warranty terms in writing, and ask where the nearest service point actually is.
Accessories for the Dongfeng 007
Straight answer: we do not stock 007-specific accessories at the moment, and we would rather say so than sell you a universal set for a car with frameless doors and a 15.6-inch screen.
If you own one, contact us. Exact-fit patterns get cut where there is demand, and an owner asking today counts for more than an estimate.
For the premium electric sedans we do cover, there is a stocked BYD Seal accessories range, and our wider coverage of where BYD's Pakistan assembly plans stand is useful context on how quickly this segment is moving.
Final Thoughts
The Dongfeng 007 is a genuinely quick electric sedan with 73.5 kWh, a claimed 3.9 seconds in dual-motor form and a cabin built around a 15.6-inch screen and 19 speakers. Ex-factory pricing ran Rs 11,900,000 to Rs 13,900,000, with the Prestige quietly raised to Rs 12,990,000 in May 2026.
Three things to carry away. The 536 hp and 544 PS figures are one number in two units. The 650 km and 463 km figures are one car on two cycles, and the WLTP number is the one to budget on. And which Pakistani variant has the dual-motor drivetrain has not been published, so ask.
Confirm the current price with the distributor rather than any article, including this one. More in our automotive news and car guides.
