The S sits 67 PS and 156 Nm above the standard car and is half a second quicker to 60 mph a meaningful gap, though both are extraordinarily quick for a luxury SUV. The instant torque delivery of electric motors is what makes those numbers possible in something this size.
Battery, Range and Charging
Both versions use a 113.2 kWh battery on an 800V architecture, with dual electric motors driving all four wheels. Range is quoted at up to 600 km (373 miles).
Charging is rated at 10–80% in 16 minutes under Bentley's stated DC charging conditions. As with any EV, that assumes a charger capable of delivering it on a slower unit the time rises accordingly.
Design
The Torcal introduces a progressive take on Bentley's design language, led by an illuminated diamond grille and a new Bentley emblem. An electric powertrain needs far less cooling airflow than a W12, which frees designers to treat the grille as a lighting signature rather than an opening and that is exactly what has happened here.

The Torcal carries 25 sensors, radars and cameras supporting its driver-assistance systems, along with remote and automated parking, an augmented reality head-up display, facial recognition, a mobile device key and powered doors.
Suspension and Handling
Active suspension with adaptive dampers handles the ride-versus-control balance, while all-wheel steering helps a large SUV feel smaller in tight spaces and more stable at speed.
