The Kia Sorento price in Pakistan has been reduced under a limited-time promotional offer, with savings advertised from Rs 800,000 up to Rs 2.5 million depending on variant. The all-wheel-drive hybrid and the front-wheel-drive hybrid now carry the same price.
That last point is the real news, and we will come to it. But there is something else about these "discounts" that is worth understanding before you walk into a showroom, and almost nobody is mentioning it.
Kia Sorento Price in Pakistan: The New Prices
| Variant | Was | Now | Saving |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.6T FWD HEV | 16,299,000 | 15,499,000 | 800,000 |
| 1.6T AWD HEV | 17,899,000 | 15,499,000 | 2,400,000 |
| 1.6T AWD PHEV | 18,999,000 | 16,499,000 | 2,500,000 |
All figures in rupees, ex-factory. Confirm current pricing with an authorised dealership these prices have moved twice in under two months.
All-Wheel Drive Is Now Free
Look at the middle column again. The FWD HEV and the AWD HEV are now both Rs 15,499,000. The difference between them is zero.
Before this offer, all-wheel drive cost Rs 1,600,000 extra. Today it costs nothing. If you were going to buy a Sorento hybrid at all, there is no longer a financial argument for the front-wheel-drive version you would be choosing less car for identical money. That is the most useful single fact on this page.
Now the Part Nobody Is Telling You
These discounts are measured against prices that are about seven weeks old. On 17 August 2026, Kia increased these same prices the FWD HEV by Rs 1,000,000 and the AWD HEV by Rs 1,200,000. The "savings" above are calculated from those raised figures.
So here is the same offer measured against what the cars cost in July instead:
| Variant | Before 17 Aug | Now | Real change |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.6T FWD HEV | 15,299,000 | 15,499,000 | +200,000 |
| 1.6T AWD HEV | 16,699,000 | 15,499,000 | −1,200,000 |
| 1.6T AWD PHEV | — | 16,499,000 | New variant |
The front-wheel-drive hybrid is actually Rs 200,000 more expensive than it was in July, despite being advertised with an Rs 800,000 saving. The AWD HEV's cut is real, but Rs 1,200,000 rather than Rs 2,400,000.
None of this makes the offer bad the AWD HEV at Rs 15,499,000 is genuinely the cheapest this variant has been, and the PHEV is a new model with no earlier price to compare. It simply means the headline numbers are smaller than they look. Details of the August revision were reported at the time by ProPakistani.
Kia Sorento Price: How the HEV and PHEV Now Compare
The Kia Sorento price structure has been reshaped by this offer in a second way that is easy to miss. The plug-in hybrid now sits just Rs 1,000,000 above either hybrid.
Before the offer, stepping from the FWD HEV to the PHEV cost Rs 2,700,000. That step has shrunk by Rs 1,700,000. For anyone who was weighing the plug-in and decided it was too far out of reach, the maths has changed considerably.
Whether to take that step comes down to one honest question: can you charge at home? A plug-in hybrid that never gets plugged in is a heavier, more complex petrol hybrid carrying a battery it does not use. If you have no home charging, the AWD HEV at Rs 15,499,000 is the better buy. If you do, the PHEV's Rs 1,000,000 premium is the most defensible it has ever been.
What Buyers Should Know Before Booking
This is the section that matters more than any discount figure, and it comes from Kia's own published terms rather than from us.
These are ex-factory prices. They exclude freight and insurance. The amount you actually hand over, once those and registration are added, will be higher than the figure in the table.
Tax risk sits with you, not with Kia. The company's stated position is that any new or additional government duties, taxes or charges imposed at the time of delivery are borne by the customer. If a levy changes between your booking and your delivery, you pay the difference.
Given that, get three things in writing before you pay anything: whether the promotional price is locked at booking or merely applies on the day; your expected delivery date; and the refund terms if delivery slips. Also check the latest official figures and terms directly on the Lucky Motor Corporation price list.
One more note on the range: a 3.5-litre V6 Sorento also exists and sat at Rs 13,649,000 as of mid-August. The promotion as described covers the three hybrid variants, so confirm the V6's current price separately if it interests you.
Kitting Out a New Sorento
If you do take delivery of one, the practical first purchases are the protective ones — sun shades, a top cover, UV protection film, PPF and screen protection all do more for the car's condition over three years than anything cosmetic.
We stock exact-fit Kia Sorento HEV accessories for the current 2025–2026 hybrid, including sun shades, top covers, AI Box, UV film, key covers and PPF.
For earlier cars, our separate range of Kia Sorento accessories covers the 2016–2024 models with floor mats, trunk mats, sun shades, dashboard covers and screen protection.
Final Thoughts
The headline is that the Kia Sorento price in Pakistan is down by up to Rs 2.5 million. The more useful version is this: all-wheel drive now costs the same as front-wheel drive, which makes the AWD HEV at Rs 15,499,000 the clear pick of the hybrids; the plug-in is only Rs 1,000,000 further on, which is the smallest that gap has been; and the front-wheel-drive car, measured against its July price rather than its August one, is actually Rs 200,000 dearer than before. Prices are ex-factory and any tax change before delivery is yours to absorb. Confirm the current price and the offer's terms with an authorised dealership before booking — this is a limited-time promotion with no announced end date.
