First iCAUR V27 Shipment Arrives in Pakistan: Deliveries Soon

The first iCAUR V27 shipment has reportedly reached Pakistan, with around 90 units said to be in the batch. Dealership arrivals and the first customer deliveries are expected to follow.

The iCAUR V27 shipment Pakistan has been waiting for is the brand's first real test here. Below is what is confirmed, what is still only reported, and what a buyer should ask before taking the keys.

iCAUR V27 Shipment: What We Know So Far

Start with the honest part. iCAUR Pakistan has not published a shipment announcement. There is no unit count on the official site, and no arrival statement.

So the figure of about 90 units is a reported number. We are repeating it as that and nothing more.

Treat it as an indication of scale rather than a count. A first batch for a new brand is usually small, and it is split across a dealer network, not held in one city.

That network is already in place. The official iCAUR dealer locator lists 19 dealerships across 11 cities.

Karachi has five and Lahore has four. Multan has one, on the Northern Bypass near Wapda Town. That matters for anyone booking locally.

When Will iCAUR V27 Deliveries Begin?

This is the part worth watching closely this week.

When bookings opened, deliveries were scheduled to begin by the end of October. We reported that at the time in our iCAUR V27 price and booking update.

October ends in days. So the stated window is closing now, not later.

A shipment landing is not the same as a car handed over. Units still clear customs, move to dealerships, get pre-delivery inspection and then get registered.

Each of those steps takes time. A batch that arrives at a port in late October does not all reach driveways in October.

If you have a booking, this is the week to call your dealership and ask for a date in writing. Ask where your unit is right now, not just when deliveries start in general.

iCAUR V27 Price and Booking Amount in Pakistan

The price is the one big number iCAUR publishes itself. Its site carries the launch announcement for the V27 REEV at Rs12,499,000.

Two things sit on top of that figure, and buyers keep missing both.

Item Amount Source
Ex-factory price Rs12,499,000 iCAUR Pakistan
Freight Rs70,000 Our launch coverage
Booking amount Rs2,500,000 Our launch coverage

The Rs70,000 freight charge is separate from the ex-factory price. Registration and taxes come after that again.

The Rs2,500,000 booking amount was the same across the V23 and the V27. Note that it is not printed on iCAUR's own site today, so confirm it at the dealership before you transfer anything.

iCAUR V27 Engine, Range-Extender Technology and Performance

The V27 is a REEV, which stands for range-extended electric vehicle. iCAUR's own site calls it an all-round hybrid SUV and a REEV.

The layout is simple to describe. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine is a generator. It charges the battery. The electric motors turn the wheels.

That makes it a different thing from a plug-in hybrid. In most plug-in hybrids the petrol engine can drive the wheels directly. Here it does not.

iCAUR publishes two performance figures in Pakistan. Motor maximum torque is 505 N.m, and the minimum 0 to 100 km/h time is 5.9 seconds.

The widely quoted power figure is 449 hp from the dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. One point on that number is worth having.

449 hp, 455 PS and 335 kW are the same output. PS is metric horsepower and hp is mechanical horsepower, so the same car reads differently depending on the unit.

If you see a 455 PS figure in international coverage, that is not a hotter version. It is this car, converted differently.

What iCAUR Publishes in Pakistan, and What It Does Not

This deserves its own section, because the gaps are larger than buyers expect.

iCAUR Pakistan's site publishes the V27's torque, its 0 to 100 time and its price. It does not publish a power figure anywhere.

That is an unusual combination. Torque and acceleration are there, but the horsepower headline everyone quotes is not manufacturer-published in this market.

Battery capacity, electric range, combined range and dimensions are also absent from the V27 page. So is the booking amount.

On range, the published Pakistan figure at launch was 150 km of electric driving on the NEDC cycle, with up to 995 km combined. International coverage quotes higher electric range on the CLTC cycle.

Do not mix those two. NEDC and CLTC are different test cycles, and a number from one cannot be compared with a number from the other.

A missing figure is also not proof of a missing feature. It simply means you should get it confirmed rather than assume it.

How iCAUR V27 Differs From the Fully Electric V23

These two get confused constantly, and the difference is fundamental.

The V23 is a battery electric vehicle. iCAUR calls it a boxy lifestyle EV. There is no petrol engine in it at all.

The V27 carries a petrol generator on board. So it can be refuelled at a pump when there is no charger within reach.

The battery sizes show the design split clearly. iCAUR publishes 81.76 kWh for the V23. The V27's pack was reported at launch as 34.31 kWh.

That makes the pure EV's battery roughly 2.4 times the size of the range-extender's. It has to be, because it has nothing else to fall back on.

On price, the V23 started at Rs9,499,000 in rear-wheel drive and Rs11,499,000 in all-wheel drive at launch. The V27 sits Rs1,000,000 above the all-wheel-drive V23.

We put the two side by side against a rival in our iCAUR V27 versus Jetour T2 comparison if you want the fuller picture.

One more piece of context. iCAUR is Chery's iCar brand, so it shares a parent with Tiggo, JAECOO and OMODA. That is relevant for parts and service depth over time.

What Buyers Should Confirm With Dealerships

A first batch of a brand-new model is exactly when written confirmation matters most.

Ask for your delivery date on paper, with the chassis number of the unit allocated to you. A general delivery window is not an allocation.

Ask what the on-road total is. Take the ex-factory price, add freight, then add registration and whatever else applies, and get that sum in writing.

Ask about the battery warranty separately from the vehicle warranty. On any electrified car those are usually two different terms.

Ask what charging hardware is included and what is extra. Also ask which service centre near you is trained on REEV systems today, not in future.

And confirm the specification of your actual unit against the brochure. Early batches of a new model are the ones most likely to differ from launch material.

For the official iCAUR Pakistan model information, go to the brand's own site rather than any resale listing.

On the day the car arrives, mats and paint protection are the two things worth fitting before daily use begins. We stock carpet floor mats and interior PPF, and we fit both in Multan.

Final Thoughts

The shipment is real news, but the unit count is not official and the delivery window stated at launch closes this week. Those two facts belong together.

If you have money down on a V27, ask your dealership for a date and a chassis number now. If you are still deciding, remember the price is not the total, and the headline power figure is not published by iCAUR in Pakistan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Has the first iCAUR V27 shipment arrived in Pakistan?

A first shipment has been reported as arrived, with dealership arrivals expected to follow. iCAUR Pakistan has not published its own shipment announcement, so treat the arrival as reported rather than officially confirmed.

How many iCAUR V27 units arrived in the first shipment?

Around 90 units have been reported. That figure is not confirmed by iCAUR Pakistan and does not appear on its website. We are quoting it as a reported estimate only.

What is the iCAUR V27 price in Pakistan?

iCAUR Pakistan's launch announcement puts the V27 REEV at Rs12,499,000. A freight charge of Rs70,000 was listed separately at launch, and registration and taxes are extra. Ask the dealership for a written on-road total.

What is the iCAUR V27 booking amount?

The booking amount at launch was Rs2,500,000, the same figure used for the V23. It is not printed on iCAUR's website today, so confirm the current amount with an authorised dealer before transferring money.

When will iCAUR V27 customer deliveries begin?

The timeline given when bookings opened was end of October, so that window is closing now. A shipment arriving is not the same as a handover. Customs clearance, dealer transfer, pre-delivery inspection and registration all come first.

Is the iCAUR V27 a fully electric car or a hybrid?

Neither label fits neatly. It is a range-extended electric vehicle, or REEV. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine works as a generator and the electric motors drive the wheels. The fully electric model in the range is the V23.

Is the iCAUR V27 really 449 hp?

That figure is widely quoted but iCAUR Pakistan does not publish any power number on its site. It is the same output as 455 PS and 335 kW, so a 455 PS figure elsewhere is not a different model. The site does publish 505 N.m of torque and a 5.9 second 0 to 100 time.

Where can buyers find an authorised iCAUR dealer?

Use the dealer locator on iCAUR Pakistan's own website. It lists 19 dealerships across 11 cities, with five in Karachi, four in Lahore and one in Multan on the Northern Bypass near Wapda Town.
