Powertrain: Where the 201 hp Goes
Both pair a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with electric drive and 4WD. The B8 uses dual electric motors for 603 hp and 760 Nm; the Tank 500 PHEV makes 402 hp and 750 Nm.
The torque figures are almost identical just 10 Nm apart so in ordinary driving the two should feel closer than the power gap suggests. Torque is what you feel pulling away and overtaking.

The B8 is 117 mm longer with 70 mm more wheelbase, which should translate into more second- and third-row space. Both stand exactly the same height. The Tank's 213 mm ground clearance is a useful known quantity for broken roads; the B8's figure was not listed, so it cannot be compared here.

This is where the B8 leans hardest into luxury: six- or seven-seat layouts, second-row boss seats with massage functions and powered leg rests, a 7-litre heating and cooling refrigerator, and a 360-degree camera.
The Tank 500 PHEV counters with seven seats, front massage seats and a 360-degree camera — comfortable, but pitched slightly differently.
Safety and Driver Assistance
Both are listed with autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot detection, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, door-open warning and driver monitoring.
The B8 additionally lists 14 airbags, fatigue and distraction monitoring, and an anti-rollover system. Feature lists are not crash-test results, though without comparable independent testing, neither can be called the safer car.
B8 Chassis and Off-Road Technology
The B8 brings DiSus-P hydraulic body control, front and rear electronic differential locking, 4WD and a Leopard Turn function. In plain terms: the suspension system manages body movement over rough ground, the diff locks help when wheels lose grip, and Leopard Turn helps a very long SUV pivot in tight spaces. Useful technology for a vehicle of this size though real capability needs testing, not spec sheets.

Tank 500 PHEV: available now at Rs. 22.5 million, with a known ground clearance, seven seats and published charging figures. You can see it, drive it and buy it.
Denza B8: stronger on paper more power, more length, more luxury equipment but with no announced Pakistan price or launch date. Until there is a price, there is no value comparison to make.
