What has not been announced: the location, the exact opening date, whether it will include a service centre, and whether bookings or test drives will be available from day one. BYD's public dealer listing currently shows the major cities. Please do not plan a visit on the strength of this page wait for the official announcement.
Why It Matters for Multan
Right now, buying a BYD from Multan means travelling to Lahore or Karachi and more importantly, going back there for anything the car needs afterwards.
That after-sales gap is the real barrier, not the purchase. EVs need fewer routine services than petrol cars, but when something does need attention it usually needs trained technicians and brand-specific diagnostics. A local presence changes the ownership calculation for south Punjab far more than it changes the buying one.

BYD operates here through Mega Motor Company, its authorised distributor. Dealership enquiries and official information go through BYD Pakistan, which also handles dealership applications. Any confirmation of a Multan showroom will come from there, not from social media.
The Bigger Expansion
