The 2027 Honda Vezel went on sale in Japan on 23 October 2026. Honda calls it a minor model change, and that is the right description: rear air vents and USB-C on the cheaper grades, cosmetic revisions higher up, and a new black accessory range.
The most interesting part is a contradiction inside Honda's own announcement, which we come to below. First, what actually changed.
What's New in the 2027 Honda Vezel?
The changes are grade-specific, so it matters which one you are looking at. This is not a new generation and most specifications carry over.
| Grade | What it gains |
|---|---|
| G, petrol | Rear ventilation, two rear Type-C USB chargers, black headlight inner lens |
| e:HEV X | All of the above plus heated front seats |
| e:HEV Z | Body-coloured wheel arches and bumper garnishes, black headlight inner lens |
| e:HEV Z PLaY | All Z changes plus 18-inch alloys in a dark clear finish |
| RS | Unchanged, continues as before |
Japan-market changes as announced by Honda on 22 October 2026. The RS grade is explicitly carried over unaltered.
Look at the shape of that. The cheaper grades get the useful things and the dearer ones get cosmetics. Rear air vents and two rear USB-C ports on the entry petrol car are a real improvement for anyone who carries passengers; body-coloured garnishes are a matter of taste.
2027 Honda Vezel Price in Japan
Honda's recommended prices, including tax, run from ¥2,777,500 for the petrol G to ¥3,885,200 for the e:HEV Z with the PLaY package — a spread of a little over ¥1.1 million.
We are not publishing prices for the intermediate e:HEV X and Z grades, because we could not establish reliably which figure belongs to which grade. Better a gap than a wrong number in a price table.
One oddity in the line-up deserves a mention: the petrol G is four-wheel drive only, while the hybrids are offered in front- or four-wheel drive. Normally it is the base petrol that is the front-driver.
Honda Vezel Black Sports Style Accessories
Launched by Honda Access alongside the update, Honda Vezel Black Sports Style replaces chrome trim with black chrome and adds black-painted grille and lower garnishes. It is purely cosmetic — no engine, suspension or performance change.
| Item | Japanese list price |
|---|---|
| Front lower skirt | ¥60,500 |
| Front grille | ¥41,250 |
| Tailgate spoiler with LED stop lamp | ¥55,000 |
| Side lower garnishes, pair | ¥35,200 |
| Rear lower skirt | ¥24,200 |
| Door mirror covers, pair | ¥9,900 |
| Body kit total | ¥226,050 |
| 18-inch MS-050 alloy, each | ¥51,238 |
Japanese list prices from Honda Access. Fitting charges are not published. Honda Access says its Vezel range runs from ¥3,300 to ¥245,300, so there are dearer items in the catalogue than any single part here. The wheel is not described as part of the package.
That wheel price is the one to read carefully, because it is per wheel. A set of four is ¥204,952 — almost as much again as the entire body kit.
Add them together and the full look costs ¥431,002, which is about 15.5 per cent of the cheapest Vezel. Styling kits are rarely cheap, but it is worth seeing the figure next to the car's price rather than on its own.
The Contradiction in Honda's Own Announcement
Here is what makes this update quietly funny, and it is not a criticism so much as the commercial logic laid bare.
The factory update to the e:HEV Z makes the wheel arches and the front, side and rear bumper garnishes body-coloured. In other words, Honda took black plastic off the car.
On the same day, Honda Access launched a kit whose entire purpose is to put black back on it. De-blackened at the factory, re-blackened at the dealer — and that is precisely why the accessory range exists.
Petrol and Hybrid Powertrains
Unchanged by this update. The G uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a CVT, in four-wheel drive only.
Everything above it is e:HEV, Honda's hybrid system pairing a 1.5-litre engine with an electric motor through an e-CVT, available with front or four-wheel drive. It is a full hybrid, not a plug-in and not a mild hybrid — there is nothing to plug in.
Is the 2027 Update Coming to Pakistan?
Nothing has been announced locally. This is a Japan-market announcement, and it does not by itself tell you anything about what Honda Atlas will offer here.
Honda assembles the HR-V in Pakistan, including a hybrid version, and that car is the same family as the Japanese Vezel. Whether any of these changes reach it is a separate decision that has not been published.
We are also not converting Japanese prices into rupees. A recommended price in Tokyo tells you nothing about a locally assembled car, and for an import the cost depends on the specific vehicle, shipping, duty, taxes and registration.
Vezel or HR-V? The Generation Decides What Fits
This is the part that actually matters for an owner here, and it trips people up constantly.
The Vezel being updated in Japan is the current generation, the same car family as the HR-V assembled in Pakistan from 2022 onward. But most imported Vezels on Pakistani roads are the previous generation, brought in used from Japan.
So “Vezel” and “HR-V” here can mean two different cars, and accessories do not cross between them. A mat cut for a 2013–2021 Vezel footwell will not fit a 2022-onward HR-V.
Check your registration year before ordering anything, and if you are unsure, send us a photograph.
Honda Vezel and HR-V Accessories in Pakistan
We keep a separate range for each generation, for exactly the reason above.
For imported cars there are Honda Vezel accessories cut for the 2013–2021 car, covering TPE and 7D floor mats, microfiber top covers, window sun shades, railing curtains and key covers.
For the locally assembled car there are Honda HR-V accessories in Pakistan for 2022 onward — sun shades, a custom-fit trunk mat, three top-cover options, TPE, latex and carpet mats, mud flaps, interior PPF, side skirts and air-press sun visors.
Stock moves in both, so check the collection rather than this page. Everything is fitted in-house in Multan with nationwide delivery. And to be clear, nothing we sell is the Japanese Black Sports Style range — that is a Honda Access product sold through Honda in Japan.
Final Verdict
A minor model change, honestly labelled as one. The entry grades gain the better half of it in rear air vents and USB-C charging; the upper grades get body-coloured trim and darker wheels. Japanese prices run ¥2,777,500 to ¥3,885,200, and the RS is untouched.
Two things to carry away. Black Sports Style plus four MS-050 wheels comes to ¥431,002, around a sixth of the cheapest Vezel — and Honda made the car less black at the factory before selling a kit to make it black again.
For Pakistan, the useful question is not this update at all. It is which generation your car is, because that is what decides what fits it.
