The Jaecoo J5 price in Pakistan is going up by Rs 300,000 on both variants from October 1, 2026. NexGen Auto has revised its price list following the latest tax change and it isn't all bad news, because the Jaecoo J7 Premium is coming down by Rs 500,000.
The Omoda 7 Premium stays where it is, unchanged.
If you already have a J5 booking, or you were planning one, there's a payment deadline that decides which price you pay. Here's the full breakdown.
New Jaecoo J5 Price in Pakistan
According to the latest price circular, both J5 HEV variants rise by the same amount. All figures are ex-factory unless stated otherwise.
Jaecoo J5 Comfort Price
The Jaecoo J5 Comfort price moves from Rs 6,699,000 to Rs 6,999,000 an increase of Rs 300,000, taking it just under the seven million mark.
Jaecoo J5 Premium Price
The Jaecoo J5 Premium price goes from Rs 7,699,000 to Rs 7,999,000 the same Rs 300,000 increase.
The gap between the two variants stays at Rs 1,000,000, so the relative positioning is unchanged. Both are simply Rs 300,000 further along.
Jaecoo J5 Price Increase From October 1, 2026
The revised Jaecoo J5 price takes effect on October 1, 2026. Until then, the existing prices apply.
That leaves a window and for anyone already close to buying, Rs 300,000 is a meaningful amount to save by moving a few days earlier.
Jaecoo J5 Booking Deadline to Save Rs 300,000
This is the section that matters most if you have money already committed.
Existing Full-Payment Bookings
Customers who have already paid in full are the most secure position to be in. Keep your payment receipt and booking confirmation accessible, and get written confirmation from the dealer that your price is locked at the old rate.
Existing Partial-Payment Bookings
If you've paid a partial amount, the balance timing is what decides your price. This is the group most exposed to the increase, so it's worth speaking to your dealer directly rather than assuming your original booking price holds.
September 30 Payment Deadline
September 30, 2026 is the payment cut-off. Payments completed by that date fall under the existing pricing; from October 1, the revised prices apply.
One practical note: bank transfers and pay orders don't always clear the same day. If you're working to the deadline, allow time for the payment to actually land rather than counting the day you initiate it.
New Bookings Before October 1
A new booking completed and paid before the cut-off should fall under existing pricing. Confirm the exact terms and what counts as a qualifying payment with your dealer in writing terms can vary, and verbal assurances are difficult to rely on when a Rs 300,000 difference is involved.
Jaecoo J7 Premium Price Reduced by Rs 500,000
New Jaecoo J7 Premium Price
The Jaecoo J7 price in Pakistan moves in the opposite direction. The J7 Premium drops from Rs 10,499,000 to Rs 9,999,000 a reduction of Rs 500,000 that brings it under the ten million line.
Psychologically that matters. A price starting with nine reads very differently from one starting with ten, and it's rarely a coincidence when a price lands just below a round number.
Why J5 and J7 Moved Differently
Different models can be affected differently by a tax change depending on their specification, powertrain and how each is treated under the revised structure. A single tax revision does not necessarily move every model in the same direction. Owners looking to protect a new purchase will find model-specific fitment in our Jaecoo car accessories in Pakistan range, covering J5, J6 and J7 PHEV.
Omoda 7 Price in Pakistan Remains Unchanged
Current Omoda 7 Premium Price
The Omoda 7 Premium stays at Rs 10,649,000 no change under this revision. For the full launch pricing and variant details, see our coverage of the Omoda 7 price in Pakistan.
Why the Omoda 7 Price Has Not Changed
Not every model in a manufacturer's range is affected identically by a tax revision, and pricing decisions also factor in competitive positioning. For the plug-in variant, our coverage of the Omoda 7 PHEV price and specifications covers where it sits in the lineup.

What the Tax Change Means for Car Buyers
Why Car Prices Are Being Revised
Taxes form a substantial part of what a new car costs in Pakistan. When the tax structure changes, assemblers revise their MSRP to reflect the new cost base which is why car prices in Pakistan often move without anything about the vehicle itself changing.
Why Different Models Move Differently
A model's specification, powertrain type and how it's classified all influence how a tax revision affects it. Manufacturers also have room to absorb or pass on costs based on how each model is competing. That's how one lineup can see an increase on one model, a reduction on another, and no change on a third from the same revision.
Which Model Offers the Better Deal Now?
Jaecoo J5 HEV
Still the accessible entry into the lineup, and the hybrid powertrain remains its main draw given fuel costs. The Rs 300,000 increase makes acting before October 1 worthwhile if you were already decided.
Jaecoo J7 Premium
The clear winner from this revision. A Rs 500,000 reduction is substantial, and at Rs 9,999,000 it sits noticeably closer to the J5 Premium than it did before worth reconsidering if the J7 was previously just out of reach.
Omoda 7 Premium
Unchanged at Rs 10,649,000, which now makes it Rs 650,000 more than the J7 Premium a gap worth weighing against the specification difference between them.
Protecting Your New Jaecoo J5
If you're taking delivery of a J5, the first weeks are when protection is cheapest and most effective before the interior picks up wear and the paint collects its first marks.
Our Jaecoo J5 accessories collection covers model-specific sun shades, key covers, screen protectors, TPE mats, top covers and trunk mats all cut for the J5 rather than adapted from universal parts.
Floor protection is usually the first thing owners want, and our Jaecoo J5 floor mats include a 7D set shaped specifically for the 2025–2026 J5.
Final Thoughts
The revised Jaecoo J5 price in Pakistan is Rs 6,999,000 for the Comfort and Rs 7,999,000 for the Premium from October 1, 2026 — Rs 300,000 up on both. The Jaecoo J7 Premium drops Rs 500,000 to Rs 9,999,000, and the Omoda 7 Premium holds at Rs 10,649,000. If you have a J5 booking, the September 30 payment deadline decides which price you pay, so confirm your position with the dealer in writing rather than assuming. Prices in Pakistan move frequently, so verify current figures with your dealer before finalising anything.
