If you have seen a free Honda interior upgrade worth Rs 30,000 doing the rounds, the short answer is that it was real, it was good value, and it closed in March.
It also did not apply to the car most people think it did. Here is what the offer actually covered, and the more useful thing it tells you about buying a Honda here.
Is the Free Interior Upgrade Still Available?
No. The promotion was reported in March 2026 and was valid only for bookings made that month. Reporting at the time was explicit that buyers would pay the standard Rs 30,000 for those interior options once it ended.
We looked for a current replacement and found no interior promotion running in October 2026. That does not mean none exists — these offers are often announced on social media and are easy to miss — but nothing is published that we could verify.
What the Rs 30,000 Actually Applied To
This is where most retellings go wrong. The Rs 30,000 was the normal cost of Burgundy and high-grade Black interiors, and those were the colours being given away.
| Variant | Interior offered free | Normal cost |
|---|---|---|
| City Aspire 1.5 | Burgundy | Rs 30,000 |
| Civic Oriel | High-grade Black and Burgundy | Rs 30,000 |
| Civic Oriel | High-grade Tan | No price published |
As reported in March 2026. “High-grade” was described as a leatherette-style material. We have seen no source describing any of these seats as perforated.
A separate promotion the previous December had given City 1.2 CVT buyers a free Premium Black Fabric interior, running until 31 December and open to existing reservations as well as new ones.
Did the Civic RS Qualify?
No, and this is worth being clear about because the offer is widely described as a Civic RS one. The eligible cars were the City Aspire 1.5 and the Civic Oriel, both mid-specification.
The RS sits above the Oriel in the range and did not appear in the promotion. If you are shopping for an RS, do not go in expecting a free Rs 30,000 interior on the strength of this offer.
The Tan Interior Is a Lineup Addition, Not a Rs 30,000 Freebie
The tan option is the part that has been most garbled. A high-grade Tan interior was introduced on the Civic Oriel around the same time, described as new to the range rather than as a paid extra.
Because it had never been an add-on, no price was ever published for it. Attaching the Rs 30,000 figure to tan takes a cost that belonged to black and burgundy and moves it somewhere it never applied.
For context on the timing, the Civic facelift arrived in Pakistan with introductory pricing at the start of January 2026, so a fresh interior colour appearing by March fits that cycle.
Honda Does This on a Rotation, and That Is the Useful Part
Put the two promotions side by side and a pattern appears. December covered one City variant. March covered a different City variant and one Civic variant. Both were tied to a booking window.
So the question worth asking a dealer is not whether there is a free upgrade. It is which interior promotion is running this month, and which exact variant it attaches to.
Get the answer tied to your booking date in writing, because that is the condition these offers turn on. Our guide to new car booking rules in Pakistan covers how booking terms work here.
And check that the promotion applies to the trim you are actually buying, not the one above or below it. That is the single mistake this offer has generated most.
What Honda's Own Page Says
Very little, which is itself worth knowing. Honda Pakistan's official Civic RS page carries headings for colour options and specifications, and no content under either of them.
No price, no interior colours, no tan option and no promotion appear there. So if someone tells you the official page confirms a particular interior or offer, it does not — and a dealership is the only place to settle it.
If You Want a Tan Interior Now
Two honest routes. Order the factory interior and pay for it, if Honda still lists tan on the Oriel — ask the dealer to confirm the current cost rather than assuming Rs 30,000.
Or do it aftermarket. A fitted cover set is not the same thing as a factory interior — the factory option changes the seat trim, the armrest and the door inserts together — but good tailored seat covers get you most of the look, and our Honda City accessories range covers the other car in these offers.
Final Thoughts
The free Rs 30,000 interior was a genuine March offer on the Civic Oriel and City Aspire, covering black and burgundy, and it closed with that month's bookings.
Three things to carry away. It was never a Civic RS offer. The Rs 30,000 never applied to the tan interior, which arrived as a lineup addition with no published price. And nothing comparable is running that we can verify today.
Ask what is on this month, for your exact variant, tied to your booking date. We will update this page when Honda announces the next one. More in our automotive news and car guides.
