The Deepal S05 Interior PPF Kit is a transparent TPU film cut to fit the cabin surfaces you touch every day. It covers the dashboard, the centre console, glossy trims and the areas around the display.
There is one thing it does not cover, and most buyers assume it does. The touchscreen glass itself is a separate product.
We will come to that. First, what is actually in the kit.
What the Kit Covers
Our listing names six areas of the cabin. Each one is a surface that gets touched, cleaned or dusted regularly.
| Area | Why it needs it |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Dusting cloths and accidental contact |
| Centre console | Hands, phones and keys all day |
| Glossy trims | Fingerprints show instantly on gloss |
| Display surrounds | Fingers land here while reaching |
| Touch-sensitive surfaces | Constant direct contact |
| Interior panels | General daily wear |
Notice what is not on that list. Seats, carpets, steering wheel, door handles and glass are not named.
We are not going to pretend otherwise. If a surface is not listed, treat it as not covered until you see the pieces.
The 15.4-Inch Screen Needs a Different Product
This is the part worth reading twice, because it decides whether you are happy with your purchase.
Deepal Pakistan publishes a 15.4-inch central touchscreen for the S05. It is the largest surface in the cabin and the one your fingers meet most.
The interior PPF kit protects the trim around that screen. It is not described as a screen protector.
Those are two different jobs. Film that wraps a curved plastic bezel is not the same as film laid over a flat touch surface.
Screen film also has to stay optically clear and keep touch sensitivity intact. That is a separate specification.
So we list a separate transparent glass protector for the LCD screen and meter in the Deepal S05 accessories range. If the screen is your concern, that is the product you want.
Many owners end up wanting both. The kit handles the cabin, the glass protector handles the screen.
Check Which Kit You Are Ordering
There is more than one Deepal S05 interior PPF kit, and the titles look alike.
One listing specifies a six-piece set. Another does not state a piece count.
We would rather tell you that than let you discover it at checkout. Confirm the piece count on the listing you are buying.
And ask us which pieces are in the box. That is a question we can answer in a minute, and guessing is how people end up disappointed.
What TPU Actually Is
TPU stands for thermoplastic polyurethane. It is a flexible polymer used widely in paint protection film.
Flexibility is the reason it suits interiors. A dashboard is not flat, and a console has curves and recesses.
A stiff film would lift at the edges of those curves. TPU stretches enough to follow them.
It is also clear, which is the whole point. The interior TPU film range is designed to disappear once fitted.
You are not changing the look of the cabin. You are putting a sacrificial layer in front of it.
What Self-Healing Does and Does Not Mean
Self-healing is the most oversold phrase in this category. Here is the honest version.
Very light marks sit in the top layer of the film. Warmth lets that layer relax, and the mark becomes harder to see.
That is useful. Swirl marks from a cloth are exactly this kind of mark.
A cut does not heal. If something goes through the film, it stays. A key, a blade or a hard edge leaves permanent damage.
Think of it as recovering from scuffs, not from cuts. That is the line between the two.
Our listing describes the film as self-healing, scratch-resistant, anti-yellowing and anti-fingerprint. Those are the properties as listed, and real-world results depend on use and care.
Why the S05 Cabin Benefits More Than Most
Older cars had buttons and textured plastic. Marks hid in the texture.
The S05 cabin is built the modern way. Large screens, gloss panels and smooth surfaces dominate it.
Gloss is unforgiving. A single fingerprint is visible from the driver's seat in daylight.
Fewer physical buttons also means more touching. Every climate change and every volume change is a finger on a surface.
So the same film does more work in this car than it would in a cabin full of switches. If you want the wider picture on the car itself, our Deepal S05 buying guide covers it.
Precision Laser-Cut Fitment
The pieces are cut to the shapes of this car's panels rather than trimmed on the day.
That matters more than it sounds. Cutting film by hand inside a cabin means working with a blade next to the trim you are protecting.
Pre-cut pieces remove that risk. Edges also land in consistent places, which is what makes the film invisible.
A ragged edge catches light and collects dust. A clean edge does neither.
How It Goes On
Preparation is almost the entire job. Film does not stick to dust or to polish residue.
So the surfaces are cleaned and degreased first, then checked in good light. Anything left underneath shows as a bump afterwards.
Each piece is matched to its panel before anything is peeled. Positioning is checked dry.
Then the film is laid down and the air worked out from the centre towards the edges. Edges and corners get pressed last.
The final check is functional, not cosmetic. Every button, touch control and display must work exactly as before.
None of this is difficult, but it is fussy. We fit these in-house in Multan, and it is worth having done rather than learning on your own dashboard.
How to Look After It
A soft microfibre cloth does most of the work. Keep it clean, because grit in a cloth is what causes swirl marks.
Avoid harsh chemicals and anything abrasive. Solvent-based cleaners can cloud film over time.
Do not scrub hard, and do not pick at the edges with a nail. A lifted edge rarely lies back down.
Test any new cleaning product on a small area first. That habit costs nothing and saves a panel.
What It Does Not Do
Interior PPF is not damage-proof and we will not sell it as such.
It is a sacrificial layer. It takes the daily wear so the surface underneath does not.
It will not stop a deep gouge, a burn or a heavy impact. It will not protect a surface it does not cover.
What it does reliably is keep gloss looking like gloss for longer. For most owners that is the whole reason to fit it.
Who It Suits
It makes most sense on a new car, before the first marks appear. Film cannot undo a scratch already there.
It suits anyone carrying children or passengers daily. Rear console surfaces take a surprising amount of contact.
It also suits owners who plan to sell eventually. Cabin condition is one of the first things a buyer notices.
If the car is already marked, protection is less useful than correction. Tell us the condition and we will say so honestly.
Final Thoughts
Interior PPF on the S05 is preventive, not corrective. Fitted early, it keeps a glossy modern cabin looking new for far longer than bare plastic manages.
Just be clear on two points before ordering. Confirm the piece count on the kit you are buying, and remember that the touchscreen glass is a separate product. Ask us either question and we will answer it straight.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Deepal S05 Interior PPF Kit?
It is a set of clear TPU film pieces cut for the 2025–2026 S05 cabin. The film goes over interior surfaces and takes the daily marks instead of the trim. The cabin keeps its original appearance because the film is transparent.
Which areas does it cover?
Our listing names the dashboard, the centre console, glossy trims, display surrounds, touch-sensitive surfaces and interior panels. It does not name seats, carpets or the steering wheel. Check the supplied pieces against your own car before fitting.
Does it protect the 15.4-inch touchscreen?
No, and this is worth being clear about. The kit protects the trim around the display, not the glass. We list a separate transparent protector for the screen and meter, so ask for that if the screen is your main worry.
How many pieces come in the kit?
That depends on the kit. One of our listings specifies a six-piece set, while another does not give a count. Confirm the number on the listing you order, or message us and we will tell you what is in the box.
What does self-healing really mean?
Very light surface marks can fade as the top layer of film relaxes with warmth. Cleaning swirls often respond this way. Anything that cuts through the film is permanent, so it recovers from scuffs rather than from cuts.
Will it change how my interior looks?
It is meant to be invisible. The film is clear and adds no colour or pattern of its own. Fitted well, the main clue is that gloss panels stay cleaner looking than they otherwise would.
Can I fit it myself?
You can, because the pieces are already cut to shape. The difficulty is in cleaning the surfaces properly and getting edges to sit flat. We fit these in-house in Multan if you would rather not practise on your own dashboard.
Will it stop my touch controls working?
It should not, and checking this is part of a correct fitting. Every button and touch surface is tested once the film is on. If something feels different afterwards, the film is sitting wrong and needs adjusting.
How do I clean it?
Use a clean microfibre cloth and a gentle interior cleaner. Keep solvents, abrasive pads and heavy pressure away from it. Try any new product on a small area first, and never lift an edge with a fingernail.
Is it worth fitting on a used S05?
Film prevents marks but cannot remove ones already there. On a cabin that is still clean it is well worth doing. Where surfaces are already scratched, correcting them first makes more sense, and we will say so if that is the case.
Does it fit any Deepal S05?
The kit is listed for the 2025–2026 car. Interior layouts change between model years and sometimes between variants. Send us your year and variant and we will confirm fitment before you order.
